What Does the Shoot Include?

As one of my Over 50 Monochrome Clients, you will receive:

Consultation: Full consultation where you see and feel albums, canvas, acrylics, and unique offerings like Graphistudio’s Amalfi Prints and their new offerings like the Tramontina Collection.

WARDROBE AND STYLING CONSULTATION: Worried about what to wear? Let me take the stress out of the photoshoot planning by guiding you in your wardrobe selection, which we can do from the comfort of you own home, or at my studio. We will create a session plan that we can follow on the day of the shoot. No stress needed!

90 MINUTE PHOTO SESSION: Our photographic session will last 90 minutes and includes 3 outfit changes and expert posing from head to toe. Every small detail down to your fingertips will be given attention so that you are picture perfect!

IMAGE REVEAL SESSION: Immediately following your portrait session, we will sit down and go through all your images and you can choose 1 of your favorites. Of course if you want more than 1 image, or a beautiful folio, album or wall art piece, they can be added for purchase on the day of the shoot for a discounted price.

INTERVIEW WITH ME: A low key interview with a chance to discuss your life experiences as well as your life over the age of 50. This is a chance to tell your story, talk about obstacles, or pearls of wisdom you’ve learned along the way.

YOU’LL BE CELEBRATED IN MY UPCOMING EXHIBIT: In early December, we will have a celebration with all the participants, along with an exhibit of one image from each participant.

To participate in this project is just $499-a savings of over $400 dollars! That’s more than 40% off my regular image pricing, for timeless images you will love!

My name is Arnel, I am 60 and a Charlottesville, Virginia based portrait photographer. I have been a professional photographer in Charlottesville for ten years and this is the most powerful women’s black and white portrait series that I have worked on with clients to date and I can't wait to meet you!

This project began as a way to honor women in their own skin, in their own everyday lives. It’s powerful to see these women celebrate their genuine selves, letting their inner light shine-and I am honored to be a witness.
