What Does the Shoot Include?

WARDROBE AND STYLING CONSULTATION: Worried about what to wear? Let me take the stress out of the photoshoot planning by guiding you in your wardrobe selection, which we do by zoom. No stress needed!

COMPLIMENTARY MAKEUP: When you arrive, sit down with a glass of bubbly, and have your makeup done by a professional makeup artist.

40 MINUTE PHOTO SESSION: Our photographic session will last 40 minutes and includes 2 outfit changes and expert posing from head to toe.

ONE DIGITAL IMAGE: You will receive 1 Digital Image with your session, with the option to purchase additional images. Image packages purchased the day of your shoot will receive a discounted price not available at any other time.

IMAGE REVEAL SESSION/PORTRAIT OF YOUR CHOICE: Immediately following your portrait session, view all your images, the same day. Once you have made your selections, we will discuss retouching and how much or how little you would like for the images you choose.

INTERVIEW WITH ME: A short interview with a chance to discuss your life experiences as well as life in your 40’s. This is a chance to tell your story, talk about obstacles, and balancing the many things that happen in this decade of life.

My name is Arnel Gonce , I am 61 and a Charlottesville, Virginia based portrait photographer. I have been a professional photographer in Charlottesville for 13 years and Photographing women, particularly over 40 is my favorite genre!

Women in their 40’s are entering a unique phase in their lives. Many of them have reached solid footing in their careers, or they’ve been working in the home and children are no longer needing the kind of time they did when they were little. Women in their 40’s have reached a point where they can take time to think about themselves.

This is a powerful way to for women to reconnect with what it is they want, and who they are. The Fabulous 40’s portrait session is a fun, fulfilling and transformational experience!

YOUR STORY VIDEO INTERVIEW, will be a chance to express your thoughts about stepping into your power in your 40’s, explore what beauty means to you and what you feel is important for a happy and fulfilling life in your 40’s.

Your story will be used to showcase the portrait series at the conclusion in a gallery celebration for all who signed up.
